Yesterday we took a hike along the Mississippi with Dan and Anna and the boys. Have you ever tried to take a posed picture that included two boys under five years old? We saw a man rowing down the river, and we played in the leaves when we got back home.
On Tuesday we hiked in Nerstrand State Park, home to some of the last remnants of "The Big Woods" in Minnesota. We visited Hidden Falls and marveled at the views of the deep blue sky through the tall trees with their golden leaves.
